 Barnett's Creek, Kentucky (photography by Norman Stapleton, circa 1920) The photograph includes my great-grandparents and my grandmother when she was about 18 years old. I've guessed the date by judging how old the young boy looks. I'd say everyone told him to hold perfectly still based on his body stance. I have a suspicion that the lady on the far left is my great-great-grandmother but there's no way to prove that now I suppose. Comment (6) | Permalink |
