 J.D. Crowe, Paramount Arts Center, Ashland, Kentucky on Sunday. I'm posting this for a coworker, who is a fan of the musician. To tell you the truth, I didn't know who this fellow was- but I sure enjoyed the show. Looking on Google, I find he's a famous Kentuckian in the world of bluegrass music. He's a Grammy winner, a Kentucky Music Hall of Fame inductee and an International Bluegrass Music Association Hall of Honor member. I wish you were there. About the picture: sorry about the hard light on the hair. I spot-metered, but chose the face without noticing the hair. The image has no details in that area. If I had shot film, certainly black & white, it would have been better. A few years ago, my son and I tried kite-photography. We bought our kite at Sams, which was a mistake, and it never could lift the disposable camera more than 10 feet or so. I found a really neat kite-photography exhibit at File Magazine.
