 Ashland, Kentucky After taking the previous picture, I strolled on down the road and met Karl who had been sent by the family to pick up some of those great deep fried spiral potatoes that you see at the carnivals. I've known Karl since about 1985, mostly in various forms of professional life. He's a man of many admirable talents, one of which is the keen sense of how to make me feel good about myself when we bump into one another on occasions such as this. In the scope of the world, I imagine that's a pretty good talent to possess. He also had fun posing for the camera. (You might be interested to know that I revised yesterday's shot a bit.
